Thai Yoga is performed on a heavily padded floor mat in loose and comfortable clothing. Thai Yoga incorporates slow rhythmic movement, gentle stretching and traction, with palming and thumbing along energy lines. In Thai Yoga, the receiver relies on passive active stretching, relaxing into the stretch using only the force of your body weight and/or externally applied weight from the Thai yoga practitioner. Through stretching and massaging the network of energy lines Thai Yoga releases tension and promotes the free flow of prana, making the entire body more limber, promotes centeredness, contentment and improved sleep.
